Joint troupe of the British-Georgian Academy and the International British School of Tbilisi held in Birmingham Junior Theater Festivalfrom returned with an award in the Best Choreography category. Our talented students presented an excerpt from Matilda The Musical Jr to an international audience, which was met with great enthusiasm by the professional jury and the audience.
As part of the festival, the students attended a West End workshop, saw iconic musicals, and had an unforgettable experience working alongside professionals. In addition to theatrical activities, the group visited London’s landmarks: Madame Tussauds, Marvel Universe 4D, Regent’s Park, Queen Mary’s Gardens, and the Royal Academy of Music Museum. Special congratulations to our stars — Alexander and Anastasia, who earned All-Star status and performed a number at the festival’s final concert with outstanding students from other countries.
On June 11 and 12, Georgian audiences will also see this amazing performance at Theater-Workshop 42.
