At the British-Georgian Academy, we believe that it is important for children to participate in activities outside the classroom in order to gain a well-rounded school experience. We make every effort to use both indoor and outdoor spaces, as well as the school grounds, to provide opportunities for students to socialize with each other in an informal setting.
We offer a wide range of extracurricular activities to our students, allowing them to participate in clubs that are relevant to their interests (sports, science, programming, art, etc.). Significant attention is paid to various types of events and performances, in which students test their abilities in singing, dancing and acting; during weeks dedicated to a specific subject or theme, students demonstrate their knowledge of mathematics and other sciences; participate in sports competitions planned both in school and outside of school; are involved in activities related to art, debate and computer programming, which together form the British-Georgian Academy’s extracurricular program.
Lake Lisi is an amazing resource for the Academy, often used for fun-filled scientific expeditions, sports events, and outdoor learning. In addition, students are given the opportunity to participate in various field trips both throughout Georgia and abroad.
