By participating in extracurricular activities, children are given the opportunity to discover different skills, gain confidence in their abilities, make new friends and interact with their peers. Team sports such as football, rugby and basketball are not just about physical activity. Through them, children learn the principles and importance of teamwork, as well as how to celebrate victory and accept defeat with dignity. By playing a musical instrument or learning a new language, children develop the skills of hard work, determination and patience. Arts and crafts activities allow children to discover creative skills. Participation in karate and dance clubs teaches students discipline and gives them a chance to express themselves. Programming and engineering clubs develop children’s creative thinking and give them the opportunity to understand how many things in our world function through technology. Our expectation is that students will not only be consumers, but also creators of technology in the future.
