The British-Georgian Academy announces a competition for active and motivated students with high academic performance in grades eight, nine and ten who wish to join the British-Georgian Academy school community from the 2024-25 academic year and continue their studies in international programs: the Cambridge International Program in grades IX-X and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program in grades XI-XII..

The total amount of the British-Georgian Academy Founder’s Grant is Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000) and will be distributed to each winning student to fund their tuition fees. Finalists in the grant competition will receive grants ranging from 30% to 100%.

Conditions for participation in the grant competition
The grant competition is open to students who will be in ninth, tenth or eleventh grade in the 2024-25 academic year and who have high academic performance and motivation to participate in the diverse and challenging school life of the British-Georgian Academy..
The study grant is intended for the entire period of study at the academy and is renewed annually based on the student’s academic performance, positive behavior, and involvement in school projects..
Anyone can participate in the grant competition, except for students of the British-Georgian Academy.
Admission process
Students interested in obtaining a study grant for the British-Georgian Academy’s international programs must complete the following steps:

No later than March 1, 5:00 PM, students must complete the application form, attach a motivation letter (200 to 400 words) in English, and a transcript of grades for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic years (the transcript can also be submitted at subsequent stages of admission).

After reviewing the application forms, the selected students will be sent a testing schedule..
Testing will be conducted on the school campus in the following subjects:
- Georgian language and literature;
- Mathematics;
- English;
- Social Sciences;
- CAT4.
- Interview
Based on the test results, selected students will be invited for an interview with the Academic Director, the relevant program coordinator, and the Director of Student Admissions..
