In order to assist parents, the British-Georgian Academy itself sets up a set of all the necessary resources needed for students throughout the school year (including workbooks and stationery), which parents have the opportunity to purchase from the Academy administration before the start of the school year. In addition to the resource set, the student will need textbooks, a school bag, a sports bag, sports shoes and sports clothing. Also, if registering for extracurricular activities, your child will need inventory appropriate for the specific activity, about which you will receive additional information after registering for a specific extracurricular activity.

The British-Georgian Academy cafeteria offers students a variety of healthy and varied foods, such as soups, hot dishes, salads, fresh vegetables, fruits, etc. The food in the school cafeteria is prepared from local healthy products in full compliance with safety standards.

According to school rules, students are required to wear a school uniform, except for exceptional cases when there is an event or field trip at school. The school uniform consists of a blue shirt or T-shirt, a blue sweater or jacket, and blue classic-style school trousers, shorts or dresses. It is also mandatory to wear the British-Georgian Academy logo, which can be purchased at the Academy. It is the responsibility of parents to provide the student with a school uniform.

The British-Georgian Academy offers transportation services to students using specially designed school buses that meet all safety standards. The transportation service is intended for students from grades 1 to 12 who live in the central part of Tbilisi and pay an additional transportation fee. Preschool education center students who have an older sister or brother can also use the school’s transportation service. The transportation service price includes travel from the student’s destination to school and back. In case of additional payment, transportation services can also be provided to students who live far from the central districts of Tbilisi.  Boarding of students from the destination begins at 7:45. Boarding time depends on the bus route and the location of the boarding point. Buses leave the school at 16:30, after the end of extracurricular activities. Upon request, an early transport service may be provided for students living in the Vake and Saburtalo districts, departing from school at 3:30 p.m., immediately after the end of the academic day. Parents can choose an early or late transport service at the beginning of the school year. The British-Georgian Academy’s 10-30 seat buses are designed specifically for school students and are equipped with safety standards, including individual seat belts, rigid seat backs, emergency exits, fire extinguishers, first aid kits and a 360° mirror for the driver. The buses also have special flashing lights and a restraining sign that is activated when a child boards and alights from the bus. The bus drivers have undergone special training in emergency situations. In addition, a special camera monitors the safe boarding and alighting of each student.
