The British-Georgian Academy is announcing a photography competition for secondary school students (grades 6 to 11 inclusive)..
Competition rules:
1. Students of the British-Georgian Academy must take photos thematically related to childhood.
2. Photos should highlight the bright aspects of childhood — the lightness, curiosity, thirst for adventure, gentleness, and simplicity that characterize this stage of life..
3. Each participant is allowed to submit 1 photo.
4. Contestants confirm that the material they submit is their own work. They do not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any other person or entity. If plagiarism is discovered, the contestant’s photo will be removed from the competition.
5. The photo must be taken specifically for this competition with a camera or mobile phone..
6. Photo editing is allowed.
Evaluation criteria:
- Relevance to the competition theme and selected goal;
- Interesting vision and creative approach;
- Compositionally balanced shot;
- Photo quality (visibility, sharpness…)
The works will be anonymously evaluated by a jury consisting of both Academy representatives and graduates of the British-Georgian Academy.
The jury will award the authors of the five best works. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony, and other selected works will also be exhibited at the event..
