    STEM Coordinator

    British Georgian Academy is looking for STEM Coordinator.

    Key Responsibilities:

    STEM Club Coordination: 

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive STEM club program that aligns with our organization’s goals and objectives/
    • Coordinate and schedule STEM club meetings, activities, and events throughout the academic year.
    • Collaborate with and manage other staff members to run successful STEM program.

    STEM Curriculum Development:

    • Create and adapt STEM lesson plans and educational materials that cater to the needs and interests of students across different age groups.
    • Ensure that STEM club activities are hands-on, interactive, and aligned with relevant educational standards.
    • Stay up-to-date with current STEM trends and advancements to incorporate cutting-edge content into the curriculum.

    Teaching Responsibilities:

    • Deliver engaging STEM lessons to students
    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to STEM club participants.
    • Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.

    Resource Management:

    • Manage and maintain STEM club resources, including materials, equipment, and technology.
    • Budget for and procure necessary supplies to support STEM activities.

    Collaboration and Outreach:

    • Work closely with parents, community partners, and other stakeholders to promote STEM education and participation in STEM clubs.
    • Organize and participate in STEM-related events, competitions, and field trips.

    Safeguarding

    • Maintain and safeguard the health and safety of Academy students and participants

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field (Master’s degree preferred).
    • Teaching certification or experience in STEM education.
    • Strong passion for and knowledge of STEM subjects.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Creativity and the ability to make STEM subjects exciting and accessible to students.
