HR Generalist
The British-Georgian Academy is looking for an HR Generalist. The aim of the role is to support to ensure the HR department’s operations run smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
- Organize and coordinate recruiting process (create ads, manage online postings, schedule interviews, administer assessments, extend offers, prepare new hire paperwork).
- Oversee applicant screening process to ensure qualified candidates are routed to the hiring managers, interview, screen and recruit job applicants to fill all levels of job openings.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of recruitment documentation in compliance with Academy Policies;
- Develop and maintain relationships with different employment sources to ensure the selection of the best candidates;
Employee On-boarding/off-boarding:
- Organize and manage on-boarding, new employee orientation and training programs to provide employees with a welcoming and inclusive experience.
- Conducts exit interviews, analyze data and identify patterns & potential improvements. Run turnover and other reports;
Employee Relations:
- Provide an effective and devoted HR consulting service to employees regarding absence and health issues, behavior and capability, grievance matters and all other employee-relations issues.
Development:
- Participate in the development of HR objectives, policies, procedures and systems;
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects;
Administrative Work:
- Handle day-to-day HR administrative tasks;
Qualification and person specification:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field;
- Additional HR training will be a plus;
- 2+ years of experience in HR;
- Work experience in recruitment would be an advantage;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Georgian and English;
- Computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office and related HR software.
- Understanding of HR best practices and current labor regulations;
- Excellent judgment, analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Great compassion and interpersonal abilities;
- Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach.
